I was born into one culture, brought up in another,

and find myself thinking and most at home, in yet another, the
so-called New World.

My work reflects all three and belongs in particular to none of them,
or all of them at once.

If I were a writer I would use language to tell you what I think and
feel and see.

But I am not a writer; I am a sculptor and a painter, and this is the
language that
I use to say what I need to say.
